New hall-of-famer Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy decided to call off their five-year engagement. As Gary With Da Tea reported
Murphy’s rep confirmed the news to PEOPLE. His rep told them,”They love each other very much, but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship.”

Strahan is a co-host of the morning show “Kelly and Michael” while Murphy can be seen on VH1’s “Hollywood Exes.” The two began dating in 2007 and engaged in 2008. Strahan, 42, was previously married twice, and Murphy, 46, was previously married to Eddie Murphy.

Their split was announced the day before Strahan was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
