Kevin Hart had one of the most supportive mothers. During his candid sit down with Oprah Winfrey on “Oprah Prime,” Hart opened up about how his mother offered to pay his rent for a year during a tough time in his comedy career.
One particular month, Kevin realized his rent wasn’t paid and called his mother who asked him, “Have you been reading your Bible?”
He told her “Yes.” After more time went by and his rent went unpaid, he questioned his mother again who asked him again, “Have you read your Bible?” Hart received an eviction notice to which his mother responded, “Talk to me when you read your Bible.”
