Chris Brown, 24, has been arrested for violating conditions of his probation stemming from the 2009 assault of then girlfriend Rihanna and held without bail, reports ABC News.
Probation Deputy Chief Reaver Bingham confirmed that his department submitted a report with the court about an alleged probation violation, but he declined to provide details, reports the L.A. Times.
As previously reported by NewsOne, during Brown’s latest probation hearing, doctors testified that the troubled singer’s past history of violent behavior is due to previously undiagnosed bi-polar disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and recommended that he stay in rehab where he has been for the last few months.

[Brown] pleaded guilty to felony assault in June 2009, which resulted in a sentence of five years of probation and 1,400 hours of community labor.
The judge has revoked Brown’s probation twice in the last year, most recently because of his arrest on a sidewalk near the White House after allegedly punching a man.
Brown voluntarily entered a rehab program a day after being released from a Washington jail in October, but he was kicked out a few days later for “throwing a rock through his mother’s car window” after a family session at the center, a probation report said. Brown was upset because his mother said she wanted him to stay in treatment, the report said.
“Mr. Brown preceded to walk outside and pick up a rock and threw it through his mother’s car window and it shattered,” according to letter from the rehab center included in the probation report.
Psychiatrists who testified at Brown’s last probation hearing stated that “[their] clinical team believes Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD.”
At that hearing, Judge James R. Brandlin ruled not to arrest Brown because the singer had made progress with his treatment.
Brown goes to court for the Washington incident on April 17 with another probation hearing scheduled for April 23.
