Singel ladies Queen latifah

We didn’t see this coming but it’s time to say goodbye to Keisha, Raquel and April. According to reports, VH1 recently canceled its hit drama “Single Ladies,” which is currently in the midst of it’s third season.

“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies,” the cable network said in a statement. “Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”

Queen Latifah, who produced the series under her Flavor Unit Entertainment company, has yet to respond to the bad news. It appears the network wanted to go out on top, seeing as the third season premiere of “Single Ladies” drew in 2.6 million viewers, and a 1.74 rating.

The decision came just two days after the network picked up its third original scripted drama “Hindsight,” following recently-renewed “Hit the Floor.”
