The 42-year-old was hired to coach the Davie-Posnack Day School boys basketball team in 2011 and had the second of two alcohol related incidents this past weekend. Anderson was arrested for DUI in Pembroke Pines after police observed him swerving in his car. He paid a $500 bond.
On Wednesday a school official said that, “Coach Kenny Anderson has completed performance under his contract for the 2012-2013 school year and will not be returning for the 2013-2014 school year.”
Anderson coached the Rams to a 1-13 record last season. His 15-year NBA career included nine teams and a brief stop in Atlanta from 2004 to 2005.
