Funky Dineva reports that the fight happened at a launch party for co-star Karlie Redd’s new weave line. Reportedly, Shay didn’t even make it into the party. Erica confronted her in the parking lot — most likely concerning her friendship with Lil’ Scrappy — and the two had an argument that turned into a physical alteration. Allegedly, Shay left the scene very bloody.
Some reports claim Erica used a razor blade during the fight, however her camp has denied those allegations. “Ms. Dixon did defend herself as she was provoked but there were no such things as a blade or other materials that you may have heard involved” her team released in a statement.
Erica cleared up the rumors on her Instagram account today. “WTH? I don’t need any type of weapon, I got these hands!! #runupgetdoneup #pointblankperiod,” she wrote.
There are still conflicting reports on the details of the fight, but we do know fists were thrown. VH1′s cameras got everything on tape so we have no choice but to wait for the footage to reveal the truth.
The upcoming season of “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” is scheduled to premiere on April 22. Check out the trailer below.
