It has nothing to do with his talent, as he’s one of the most touted cornerbacks expected to hit the draft, but it’s because of his fiancée, Leanna Lenee.

Deion Sanders, his partner’s now in the spotlight and committed a few acts that didn’t sit right with fans.

The most recent event came when it was announced he’d won the Heisman, and his mother, Coach Prime, and
Shedeur Sanders immediately stood up in the audience and clapped for him. However, Lenee appears to remain seated, and the internet believes that Sanders had to nudge her, telling her to stand.
Then, she was critiqued after the ceremony when Hunter was seen grinning and gladly taking pictures with fans while Lenee sat on a nearby couch, looking on and appearing upset at his interactions.
It’s hard to tell if she says anything, but sports personality Dov Kleiman says Hunter responds, “What do you want me to do? Just sit here, then.”
Then, during another one of his biggest moments in November, when he racked up 116 receiving yards in a 52-0 win over Oklahoma State. After the victory, he walks over to greet Lenee, seems to hug her, and attempts to kiss her, but she doesn’t embrace him back and turns her face away.
Hunter caught wind of the internet’s disdain for his fiancée, so he went on social media urging fans to find a life and breaking down some of the situations that were misinterpreted by the short clips going viral online.
“My girl been with me for five years. Y’all are just now starting to talk about me. Y’all go do something else with y’all life,” Hunter said. “Clickbait pages, y’all better stop, I’m telling y’all. Something bad is gonna happen to y’all [if you] keep doing that. Y’all better stop that. I ain’t playing.”
