Jay-Z Discusses "Decoded" With Cornel West [VIDEO]

Last night at the New York Public Library the MC who became famous for not writing rhymes (even though the late B.I.G was among the first to it) discussed his book of those very verses with Dr. Cornel West. Jay-Z’s book of rhymes, Decoded, is available in stores now and online now and the rapper turned CEO sat with one of America’s foremost thinkers to place his words in context.

It was nice to see a conversation with Jay-Z that didn’t mention the illuminati, MC Hammer or Beyonce.  We wonder if 9th Wonder will be adding Decoded to his syllabus next spring.
