When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong: Mom Slaps Wrong Child At School
Nobody ever wants to be the kid at school who gets in trouble and has to be picked up by their mother. But is it your lucky day if your mom arrives and slaps the wrong kid? Probably not, but that’s what happened when this South Carolina mom went to her son’s school.
Tyshekka Collier went to pick up her son from middle school when she found out he was suspended. When she got to the principal’s office, she saw a boy sitting with his head down, and she slapped him across the face because she thought he was her son, according to Gawker.
Turns out he was sick and waiting for his own mom to pick him up.
Dawkins told deputies that Collier apologized to the boy for her misdirected anger, but then proceeded to walk over to her actual son and knocked him to the ground.
Welp. Collier was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery and one for disturbing the school. Her children have been placed in protective custody.
