Celtics' Rondo Out For Rest Of Season
Celtics’ Rondo Out For Rest Of Season
Just days after being named an All-Star game starter for the first time and coming on the heels of back to back triple doubles, Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL. The devastating news coming in the midst of a mediocre season in Beantown. Boston currently has a losing record but snapped a six game losing streak in grand fashion with a double overtime victory against Miami on Sunday (1/27).

Arguably the best player on the team this year, Rondo’s absence have many predicting the Celtics will miss the playoffs. Rajan hurt his knee in the loss to Atlanta on Friday, but confirmation of the extent of the injury came before the start of the game against the Heat. Rondo was out of the lineup for Ray Allen’s return to Boston.
Just think if Rondo’s injury happened during the offeason maybe Allen would have re-signed with the club (I couldn’t resist).
