2012 Summer Olympics: Michael Phelps Loses To Ryan Lochte
Reign Is Over! Michael Phelps Loses To Ryan Lochte
U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte rocketed to victory Saturday night in the 400m individual medley, leaving his competitors – including his best friend famed gold medal winner Michael Phelps in the dust.
Hottie Ryan won the men’s 400-meter individual medley as the much hyped showdown with Michael Phelps never materialized. Phelps came in fourth, making this his first time out of the medals in an Olympic race since his first Olympics in 2000, when he was 15.
This is Ryan’s 1st gold medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics.
It had been billed as the great Olympic rivalry of the pool, a match-up to rival Usain Bolt and Yohann Blake on the track.
