Plaxico Burress To Sign With Jets
After serving 20 months in prison for shooting himself in the leg, Plaxico Burress is back in the NFL. The wide receiver has come to terms with the NY Jets for a one-year deal worth a little over $3 Million.
When Burress was released from jail, early speculation had him going to the Philadelphia Eagles. However, in the days since the end of the NFL lockout he has met with his old teams the NY Giants and The Pittsburgh Steelers. Ultimately, Burress did not go far at all, signing with the team that shares a stadium with the Giants.
