Plaxico Burress Pleads For Chance To Join Dolphins
Give ‘Em A Shot?! Plaxico Burress Pleads For Chance To Join Dolphins
NFL free agent Plaxico Burress wants a shot at playing for the Miami Dolphins, although the organization reportedly has no interest in signing him.
Burress told WQAM’s Sid Rosenberg Monday that he and the Dolphins’ Brandon Marshall “would be the best duo in football,” if they would sign him. He also said that “a few” teams are interested in signing him for 2011, but the Dolphins aren’t among them.
That didn’t stop him from lobbying for himself. “Just for me to be able to be somewhere I love, that I call home, and to live at one place all year around for the first time in my life,” he said, “it would be a beautiful situation.”
