When: July 15, 1990
What: While horsing around after a show, Troy “Trouble T-Roy” Dixon, one of Heavy D’s dancers, fell off a balcony and died from his injuries. T-Roy’s passing, though tragic, inspired a beautiful tribute. Pete Rock & CL Smooth recorded “They Reminisce Over You(T.R.O.Y)” in tribute to their late friend.
