Buju Banton Found Guilty
Reggae superstar Buju Banton was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five or more kilos of cocaine, attempted possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, and using the wires to facilitate a drug-trafficking offense. Banton was found not guilty of possession of a firearm.

The verdict in Banton’s drug trial was just handed down this afternoon. Banton was detained by the court and had his bail revoked.
Banton faces life in jail and will be sentenced soon.
