Chris Brown “Real Hip Hop Sh*t”

Chris Brown‘s latest video attempts to convince people that he’s a rapper, and that he’s down with “Real Hip Hop” (whatever that means this week). Breezy fails on both accounts.

The grainy black & white video seems part homage to LL Cool J‘s “Mama Said Knock You Out” and part homage to Paris Is Burning, the documentary on Ball culture in the black gay community. We can’t say we’ve seen this much voguing in a “hip-hop” video since Queen Latifah‘s “Come Into My House.”
