Justin Bieber Fans Deface Esperanza Spalding’s Wikipedia Page

Justin Bieber fans were outraged when their idol lost the Grammy for Best New Artist to jazz singer/bassist Esperanza Spalding.  They were so outraged that they defaced her Wikipedia page.

Not long after winning the award, Bieber fans edited her Wikipedia page and changed her name to “Esperanza Quesadilla Spalding,” and left hateful messages within the article’s text.

“JUSTIN BIEBER DESERVED IT GO DIE IN A HOLE. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU ANYWAY?” read one message left on the page.

Justin Bieber, however, had a much more healthy reaction to Spalding’s win. MTV’s cameras caught Bieber going up to Spalding and congratulating her on the win.
