Epps stated that his feelings aren’t because of race and rather he is tired of Sharp using black celebrities for “click-bate” and amplifying a negative narrative. “You can’t just interview Black men and let them pour out all they pain on these on these podcasts, man, That’s some bullsh*t.” Epps continued by saying that Sharp needs to diversify his guests by inviting some of his NFL friends to talk about their careers and life, not just amplifying negativity in black culture.
Sharpe and Epps previously exchanged words on social media but since made up during All-Star weekend in 2024. The duo posted a picture on social media to share that they had squashed the beef. The caption read, ” As promised. No video required. No audio required. Just a picture of proof. We are good”
