Rapper DMX Placed In Mental Health Unit
PHOENIX — Rapper DMX, real name Earl Simmons has been placed in a mental health unit in Phoenix, Arizona.
Earl Simmons was transferred to an Arizona State Prison Complex facility called Alhambra near 25th Street and Van Buren. He was admitted on Dec. 20.
He is not allowed to have visitors for 30 days.
Earlier this month, when a judge sentenced Earl Simmons to jail, she said she believes he has an undiagnosed mental condition like bipolar disorder.
