21 Savage Covers Funeral Costs For Atlanta Toddler Killed In Drive-By
Three-year-old T’Rhigi Diggs was shot in the chest on Sunday, April 1 as his mother drove past a Texaco station in Atlanta. Rapper 21 Savage, who achieved some notoriety beyond his music by briefly dating Amber Rose, paid all funeral costs for the toddler to help the family in their time of grief.
Diggs’ mother, Roshonda Craig, explained to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she saw people in a vehicle with paintball guns before real gunshots began to ring out. Reportedly, paintball “wars” are the new trend in Atlanta to encourage people to stop using real guns.
Police have no suspects in T’Rhigi’s murder.
Savage, whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is a native Atlantan who may have been inspired to act based on his own love for his young son, who is frequently pictured on his Instagram. He also survived a shooting that killed his best friend.
