Rickey Smiley Birthday Beach Blowout 2024

With just Trina, Traci, Tamar, Logan and the nanny on the bus, they get a chance to talk about how Tamar is doing. Divorce isn’t easy, especially when you’re doing it in the public eye, which is why she’s been keeping a low profile.

She’s also scheduled to perform at the 2017 Soul Train Awards and that’s where her focus is right now – no drinking, no partying until the performance is done and over. Once they arrive in Vegas, Tamar pretty much goes MIA and stops answering Trina and Traci’s phone calls. We don’t get to see how she reacts when she hears about the TMZ interview with her mother. Guess we’ll just have to wait until next week for that one.

We also have to wait to see how this 50th birthday celebration for Toni will go. We know Trina and Traci have been busy wig shopping to find wigs that mimic the many styles Toni has had over the years. Now it’s just a matter of planning the party and getting a guest list. We know Towanda says she won’t be there and unfortunately, neither will Toni’s boo-thang, Birdman, because he has a show.

While we’re on the topic of Birdman and Toni Braxton – how hilarious is it that Birdman is featured on a song on her album and she has no clue what he’s talking about in his verse.

Toni and her producer listen to Birdman’s track and can’t figure out what the hell he’s saying. The producer has to mute the music so he can clearly hear the pronunciation, but they’re still clueless. Toni has to call her “ebonics specialist” aka Tamar, for further explanation.

“I’ve got something worth more than money. Go to church freed the birds on Sunday.”

Tamar thinks it’s a metaphor for freeing the doves on your wedding day. WRONG! When Birdman shows up at the studio, he breaks it all down.

It has nothing to do with a wedding day and everything to do with funerals. In New Orleans, where Birdman is from, they release doves after someone dies. Or as he put it, “freed the birds on Sunday – let a N*gg* go!”

Sounds like something Ms. E can’t wait to say about her youngest child.
