Byron Scott's Divorce To Be Featured On 'Basketball Wives'
Former NBA Player And Coach Byron Scott’s Divorce To Be Featured On “Basketball Wives”

The upcoming season of Basketball Wives will highlight the divorce battle between NBA legend Byron Scott and his ex-wife Anita.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Anita has a list of witnesses she plans to call during her battle with Byron over spousal support issues.
Byron filed for divorce from Anita back in 2014 following their 29-year marriage. The couple shares three adult children together.
In the docs, Anita says she wants to ask Scott’s girlfriend, Cecilia Gutierrez, about Byron’s money, spousal support issues, date of separation and reimbursements. She believes the testimony would last about two hours.
Gutierrez is joining the new season of “Basketball Wives,” along with Byron’s son’s wife, Kristen Scott.
Byron and Anita have been battling it out over money for years ever since their divorce was finalized. She claims he’s not paying her a dime, even though he earned about $4 million a year as coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. She is also receiving half of Byron’s deferred compensation from the Cleveland Cavaliers (these payments end in April of this year).
Anita also noted that her ex-hubby bags at least $23,000 a month for TV work for ESPN, a book deal, and a deal working with the Basketball Champions League.
She’s asking for $60,000 a month in spousal support to maintain her former standard of living. Anita is also seeking half of their frequent flyer miles, a $25,000 buyout for Private Jet Credits they have, $175,000 for her share of their Mexico timeshare, along with $1.8 million stemming from a failed investment project Byron put their money in, per The Blast.
The case is ongoing.
