Tavis Smiley Loses Tour Company Behind Play

Tavis Smiley was suspended indefinitely by PBS after sexual harassment claims. According to Eurweb, the touring company behind his production about Martin Luther King has backed out. Live producer Mills Entertainment spoke out about it and why they are cutting ties with Smiley.

They said, “In light of the recent allegations” it will be “suspending our relationship with. We take seriously the allegations.” Smiley also lost his Walmart sponsorship because of these allegations. Smiley has denied these allegations on social media and mentioned that PBS has “overreacted.” We will keep you posted on what happens with Tavis Smiley next.
