Sanaa Lathan has had lots of success over the past couple of months. After her show “Shots Fired” aired she also landed a role in a new Netflix show and now according to Deadline will be featured in the Showtime hit “The Affair.”

“The Affair” is about an affair that ends two marriages and a crime that lands one of the characters in jail. The show also gives the story as seen by the different characters and makes fans think how women and men operate and see situations differently.
Lathan will play the part of “Jenelle” the charter school principal where main character “Noah” teaches. He is intrigued by her work ethics and is attracted to her. Congratulations to Sanaa Lathan and we look forward to seeing you in this new role.
