Ask any attendee, performer or viewer, and this year’s Vh1 Hip-Hop Awards seemed to be a success for all. But Ed Lover has some major reservations about the way VH1 does things with its hip-hop only awards show. With a theme like of “90s game-changers, ” you would think the show would do a little bit better with giving authentic pivotal moments and artists of the 90s the shine they deserved.
