According to Watch The Yard the money will be used to deal with the removal of DACA by Trump. Kaepernick said on his website, “I will donate one million dollars plus all the proceeds of my jersey sales from the 2016 season to organizations working in oppressed communities, 100k a month for 10 months.”
$25,000 will go to United We Dream, which will help with ongoing obstacles and help attendees at the Washington DC event. Kaepernick will also donate to a baseball program in Harlem and we are so thankful for his gifts.
