Fresh off her explosive performance at the 2016 BET Awards, Sheila E left it all on the stage as she paid a musical tribute to Prince, her friend and longtime collaborator.
She talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about her new single, ‘Girl Meets Boy’ and reveals just how much preparation went into the emotional tribute.
How she chose the songs for the Prince tribute:
“It took a minute. It was kind of based on thinking about the team to people I would call to do the tribute. It changed about three or four times. I felt with the right people I could do it.”
