More details are coming to light about the horrific mass shooting that took place in Orlando over the weekend.
One of the victims, Amanda Alvear, was posting videos to social media at the moment the gunman, Omar Mateen, fought his way into the club and opened fire. The 25-year-old recorded several Snapchat clips from inside Pulse Nightclub just before the gunshots rang loose, and a little bit during.
In the final video, you could hear the multiple gunshots go off as Amanda looks on confused. Amanda was killed during the standoff.

Mercedez Marisol Flores, who was at Pulse with her best friend Amanda, has also been named among the victims.
Another party-goer, Eddie Justice, texted his mother Mina from the toilets inside the club as she waited outside. He wrote: “He’s coming. I’m gonna die. He has us, and he’s in here with us.” That was the last that Mina heard from her son before he was identified as one of the slain victims.
