NYC Teen Survives After Being Pushed In Front Of Subway
A 17-year-old girl is lucky to be alive after being pushed onto the tracks in front of an oncoming 7 train in Queens, New York.
Thanks to the train’s vigilant motorman, who hit the emergency break just in time, the teen was able to position herself between the wheels of the train and the subway platform to avoid being hit. She was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Police are looking for the suspect, who is described as a 5’5″ Hispanic man, approximately in his mid-to-late 20s. This incident adds onto a string of horrendous crimes on the NYC subway this year, including recent slashings of two pepople; one of which that left a man partially paralyzed.
We urge all those that rely on the NYC subways to remain vigilant and safe.
