Now, the actor is diving even deeper into his dark past in order to encourage those who are also struggling to seek help.
“I didn’t get help to get my wife back,” he insists. “I got help because I needed it.”
The star explains how people dismiss the addiction saying, “If day turns into night, and you’re still watching, there’s a problem!” he declared.
He talks emotionally about how his wife didn’t recognize him anymore which resulted in his stint in rehab. Now, the star is using his platform to spread a message of encouragement to any one else who is suffering:
“When you tell, and you put it out there in the opening, it loses its power.”
