Cam Newton danced in the end zone after scoring a touchdown this Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, but the quarterback appeared to be celebrating way more than six points. The handsome athlete cradled a baby and pointed to the stands, leading fans to believe he and his girlfriend Hazel had a baby.
A few days before the game, Cam reportedly left Panthers practice early for personal reasons, which is when it’s speculated she gave birth. Baby rumors reportedly began swirling months ago after Cam posted a picture of Hazel looking thicker than usual.

This week, rumors were surfacing that Cam Newton had a baby recently, and he certainly gave us some hints that made fans increase their speculation.
It turns out that the rumors are true, as the NFL superstar has just confirmed that him and his longtime girlfriend, Kia Proctor, welcomed the birth of their son last week.

While outlets and fans were wondering if the news was true, Cam revealed why he decided to keep the news low key for the time being.
According to reports, this is also the reason that Newton reportedly left a Panthers practice unexpectedly on Christmas Eve.
This is the first child for Cam Newton, and with an amazing year behind him, we know 2016 has much more joy in store for him.
