Quentin Tarantino Joins #RiseUpOctober Rally in NYC [VIDEO]
Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino joined protesters, including Dr. Cornel West, in New York City’s Washington Park to escalate awareness about police brutality around the country.
Calling the racialized epidemic” police terror,” Tarantino pulled no punches when talking about how Black people in this country are disproportionately affected by police violence.
“When I see murders, I do not stand by . . . I have to call a murder a murder and I have to call the murderers the murderers,” Tarantino said.
Eleven protesters were arrested at the #RiseUpOctober action, on charges ranging from disorderly conduct to resisting arrest.
