The White House Weighs In On Kanye West’s Presidential Bid
Kanye West for President. The world would be a better place if we had ‘Ye in the Oval Office, Kim Kardashian creating legislation about the importance of selfies, and DONDA creative agency redesigning the front of the White House.
OK so, maybe not, but the idea of Kanye running for president is fun to think about.
Mr. West made headlines after he delivered yet another epic acceptance speech at the MTV VMAs on Sunday night. The only thing you need to know is that we should “listen to the kids, bro” and that he’s running for president in 2020.
Billboard contacted the White House to get their reaction to the announcement, and Press Secretary Josh Earnest weighed in, saying:
“We look forward to seeing what slogan [Kanye] chooses to embroider on his campaign hat.”
So do we, John.
