Mariah Carey might be ready to lay some thick shade on her estranged husband Nick Cannon.
Her last album may have been a commercial disappoint, but Mimi is ready to bounce back with a new studio project. According to Showbiz 411, she’s teamed up with LA Reid for a new album and there’s buzz that she’ll kick it off with a diss track about Nick called “Infinity.”
A writer for Showbiz 411 who heard the song described “Infinity” as the kind of old-school R&B song that is spot on for today’s sound, and fans won’t be able to help but sing along at shows.
Supposedly “Infinity” tells the story of a woman who has come to the conclusion that her forever love can’t last, and she wants her man out of the house now. That sounds like it could be a word for Nick.
However, Nick might not be terribly concerned about Mariah’s music at this time because there’s chatter that he’s focusing on a new woman. Mariah might be the mother of his children, but it’s been rumored that he may be seeing model Jessica White.
