Straight Outta Compton gives you a vivid first look at the controversial rap group N.W.A. and their rise to the top in a very racially divided California.
Ice Cube will be played by his son O’Shea Jackson Jr., while Eazy-E’s legacy is brought back to life by Jason Mitchell. The still-successful rap mogul Dr. Dre will be portrayed by Corey Hawkins and young talented actors Aldis Hodge and Neil Brown Jr. will depict the lives of the co-founders of N.W.A. – MC Ren and DJ Yella.
The man behind N.W.A., manager Jerry Heller, will be represented by Paul Giamatti. Straight Outta Compton the movie hits theaters August 14.
