Shonda Rhimes Drama “The Catch” Coming To ABC
ABC is will start to look a lot like Shonda Rhimes TV. The alphabet network has announced today they have ordered up yet another television project by the showrunner. The Wrap is reporting the mouse house has signed off on Shonda’s pilot, The Pact for the 2015-2016 season. The series will focus on a tough as nails female forensic accountant who uncovers fraud for a living. This no nonsense woman appears to have it all both in her business and personal life until a case comes along and turns her life upside down.
The Catch will join the Shondaland family’s current series, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder. The pilot will be produced by Shonda. No word on when the series starts and will debut. Not bad for the “angry black woman” a New York Times accused of being last year.
