Jacque Reid talks to License Mental Health expert and writer for BlackActor.org Asha Tarry about the dangers of black women and mental health issues in light of the apparent suicide of Titi Branch, co founder of Miss Jessie’s natural hair care line.
“It’s becoming more of a public issue. 30,000 people a year die from suicide alone and half of them are depressed. Some of the signs are irritability, restlessness and lost of appetite,” Tarry said.
