'Mike Tyson Mysteries' Cartoon, The Countdown Begins!
“Mike Tyson Mysteries” Sneak Peek [VIDEO]
The countdown for Mike Tyson’s “Mike Tyson Mysteries” cartoon series has officially begun! The 48-year-old heavyweight champion, who as a kid reveled in the Hanna-Barbera cartoons of yester year, has been recast as a detective who’s got jokes, an out-of-control flock of 2,000 pigeons, and is tasked to solve mysteries that are swooped in by his flying carrier messengers.

Somewhat similar to the classic cartoon series “Scooby Doo,” Tyson is joined by a smart-as-a-whip adopted teen Korean daughter, Yung Hee (voiced by Rachel Ramras); the ghost of the Marquess of Queensbury (voiced by Jim Rash), a 19th century nobleman who developed the rules of boxing; and a drunk pigeon who needs his beak washed out with soap (voiced by Norm McDonald).
The cartoon was first presented at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego and the audience so enjoyed the series clip that the former boxer reportedly had the longest standing ovation of the entire weekend.
A 10-minute screener of the series just became available online and features all of the seemingly right ingredients for a possible hit, like a masturbating pigeon!
