Before Jimmy Kimmel and Fallon, there was Arsenio Hall and after 25 years the actor and comedian is making his way back to late night television. From 1989-1994, Arsenio Hall, who became the first African-American to have a late night talk show, chopped it up with some of entertainment and politic’s biggest stars. Take a look back at some of the best guests who stopped by the Arsenio Hall Show.

1) Bill Clinton

In 1992, this young politician from Arkansas who was running for the top political spot stopped by the Arsenio Hall Show. But instead of doing the normal sit on the couch and discuss his political agenda, a full-haired Bill Clinton put on some Ray Ban  shades and played the sax with the rest of the band, officially cementing his cool factor.

2) Tupac 

In 1993, Tupac Shakur stopped by to promote “Poetic Justice” In the clip Arsenio  gets the showcases the young rapper to showcase a side not often seen in the public. ‘Pac is seen smiling, laughing and discussing just how eager he was to kiss Janet Jackson. The two also talked about the controversy that surrounded the Death Row emcee.

3) Eddie Murphy and Michael Jackson

Arsenio Hall sat down to shoot the sh*t with his fellow brethren in comedy Eddie Murphy. While the two were on the couch, in true showmanship, Michael Jackson, present Murphy with the King of Comedy award from MTV and in turn, Murphy presented Michael Jackson with the best video of all time for his classic “Thriller”

4) The Ultimate Warrior

During Wrestling’s Golden Years, when names like Jake The Snake Roberts and The Undertaker were more common the Wonder Bread, The Ultimate Warrior stopped by the Arsenio Hall show to discuss his epic battle with Hulk Hogan. Peep the awesomeness.

5) Eazy-E

About the time when the east coast-west coast beef was beginning to bubble, Eazy- E stopped by the show dressed in a bathrobe and boxers to throw shade at his former friends Dr. Dre and Snoop.  Take a look.
