After making the official announcement back in March, the tour dates for the highly-anticipated Tony! Toni! Toné! reunion tour have finally dropped.  Raphael Saadiq posted the dates on his Instagram account Tuesday morning (June 20), dubbing the tour a "revisit" rather than a reunion. Either way, it will be the first time that the classic lineup (Saadiq, D’wayne Wiggins and Timothy Christian Riley) have performed in this capacity in nearly 30 years.  

On the Valentines Day episode of Chris Rock‘s HBO talk show in 1997, D’Angelo performed with an all-star band including Raphael Saadiq, ?uestlove of The Roots, Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest and the late Chalmers “Spanky” Alford. The quintet, which was unofficially known as Linwood Rose, performed D’Angelo’s hit single “Lady.”

Cee Lo Green‘s “Bodies” is one of our favorite tracks from Green’s latest album, The Lady Killer.  The dramatic slow jam gets an animated video directed by Mikael Colombu and features “appearances” from Kerry Washington, Janelle Monae, Raphael Saadiq, Common, Bilal, and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
