It appears that police pushed for Gregory McMichael to keep tabs on the neighborhood, most especially the house under construction that has been mentioned in reports.
A father and son have been arrested and charged with murder in the shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery in February. George McMichael and Travis McMichael allegedly shot Arbery after they believed he was a burglar. Arbery's family insist he was jogging and video of the incident has been released to the public.
