In a podcast that aired on Tuesday, Officer Eugene Goodman of the Capitol Police spoke out publicly for the first time regarding his actions which led to the protection of several U.S. senators and Vice President Mike Pence from domestic terrorists during the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021.
In one of the most harrowing images to emerge from the so-called insurrection, Eugene Goodman averted the angry mob away from the Senate chambers.
