Harlem native Teyana Taylor is no stranger to having the internet talking! The 34 year-old did it again this week with her latest Instragram post. Continue reading to find out what she shared that has everyone in a tizzy.
In January, the fourth annual Fifteen Percent Pledge gala took place in Los Angeles. The multi-talented ‘Gonna Love Me’ artist was spotted with the man who is taking Hollywood by storm, Aaron Pierre
(The Underground Railroad, Rebel Ridge, Mufasa: The Lion King). As the ceremony carried on, the two were seen chatting as they sat side by side. At one point, Pierre even pulled Taylor in close for pictures. This is where speculation of relations initially began.
Popping out together once wasn’t enough though. Aaron Pierre was honored with the Rising Star Award at the African Black Film Festival Honors in February. As he accepted the award, who was right by his side? You guessed it, Teyana Taylor. Fool us once, shame on them. Fool us twice, definitely shame on us.

Rumors that the two were involved romantically reached an al-time high after the appearance last month. Up until yesterday (March 3rd), everything was just that…rumors and speculation. Teyana seemingly put it all to rest and let it be known that the two are indeed an item. She took to Instagram and posted three photos of her and Pierre with the caption, “Oscar night in black & white, no grey area.
”
Obviously, the internet was waiting for the hard launch. Teyana’s Instagram comments quickly became flooded with fans congratulating the couple and admiring how good they looked together. Numerous celebrities including Serena Williams, Angel Reese, Lori Harvey, Keke Palmer, JT, B Simone and more also shared their approval.
