Tyler Perry To Play Alex Cross
Add detective to Tyler Perry’s resume…Tyler Perry has signed on to play the role of Alex Cross the crime-solving detective in James Patterson’s seemingly never-ending series of popular novels — in a new movie called “I, Alex Cross.” The character was previously played by Morgan Freeman in “Kiss The Girls”and “Along Came A Spider.” The plan is for Tyler to do a trilogy.
This would be the first major role Perry has undertaken that doesn’t involve one of his projects.
