Men At Met Gala 2026: Best & Worst Dressed
Men's Looks At The 2026 Met Gala: Best & Worst Dressed - Page 10
On fashion's biggest night, check out how some of the most notable men in the industry showed up and showed out!
- The Met Gala is an exclusive, high-profile fashion event where celebrities showcase avant-garde looks.

The Met Gala is one of those nights where fashion turns into a full-blown sport. Every first Monday in May, the biggest names in music, sports, film, fashion, and culture pull up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City for the Costume Institute Benefit. This fundraiser has become one of the most-watched red carpets in the world. It’s invite-only, expensive, exclusive and basically the Super Bowl for people who care about a fit.
For 2026, the theme was “Costume Art,” with the dress code “Fashion Is Art.” The night was co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams and Anna Wintour, while Anthony Vaccarello and Zoë Kravitz co-chaired the host committee. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos also served as honorary chairs, while the exhibition itself focuses on the relationship between clothing, the body and art across history.
And while the women usually dominate Met Gala conversations, the men at Met Gala 2026 had plenty to say this year, too. Some came in clean tailoring, some got theatrical, some played it safe, and some had social media asking, “Now who told you to do that?” So instead of acting like we’re the final judges, we’ll let you decide who was really best or worst dressed — but here’s how the fellas showed up on fashion’s biggest night.
Jon Batiste

Jon Batiste pulled up in ERL Artisanal, giving the carpet the kind of artsy, musical, slightly off-center energy that fits him perfectly. He’s one of those people who can wear something loud and still make it feel intentional instead of thirsty.
The Rock

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made his Met Gala debut in Thom Browne, complete with a pleated skirt, tailored jacket and a serious Jacob & Co. watch moment. For a man known for his muscle tees and action-movie fits, this was a real fashion swing — and whether people loved it or joked about it, at least he didn’t come boring.
Anderson .Paak

Anderson .Paak showed up as his DJ Pee .Wee alter ego in a black-and-white Amiri suit, plus Tory Burch flats and an Audemars Piguet watch. It felt playful, jazzy and very him, which is exactly what you want from somebody who never looks like he’s taking the red carpet too seriously.
Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo wore Valentino with an Omega watch, continuing his run as one of the most reliable men on any red carpet. At this point, Colman doesn’t just dress well — he shows up like he knows the assignment before the teacher even explains it.
Damson Idris

Damson Idris kept it sharp in Prada, wearing an oversized black leather coat with red details and gold jewelry. It had that cool, rich, mysterious energy that works for him without feeling like he was trying to out-costume everybody else.
Wisdom Kaye

Wisdom Kaye wore a custom Public School look that mixed historic tailoring with a futuristic edge. That makes sense for him, because his whole lane is showing people that menswear can be dramatic without looking like a Halloween costume.
Dwyane Wade

Dwyane Wade kept it sleek in a black look with a sheer shirt and tuxedo-style vest while standing next to Gabrielle Union, who went full glam. Wade knows how to let his wife shine without disappearing completely, and that’s a skill some men on carpets still haven’t learned.
Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler linked with Alo for an all-black look featuring wide-legged pants and a cropped jacket. It was simple, but the shape gave it enough personality to keep it from looking like he was just heading to dinner after the game.
Bad Bunny

Bad Bunny went full character mode in a custom Zara, aging himself up with gray hair, makeup, a cane, and a sharp black suit. Some people may have been confused at first glance, but that man treated the theme like a performance piece, and that’s very Met Gala.
Jay-Z

Jay-Z pulled up with Beyoncé and Blue Ivy in a classic black tuxedo, letting the Carter women have the bigger fashion moments. It was safe, sure, but it was also very Jay — clean, grown and not interested in doing too much.
Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson matched Ciara’s Egyptian energy in an ivory Brandon Blackwood three-piece suit with gold embellishments. It was one of those couple looks where you could tell the group chat either loved the coordination or thought it was a lot, but at least they came with a concept.
Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook showed up in a custom GapStudio by Zac Posen look, leaning into blue tailoring, jewelry and his usual fashion-forward confidence. Russ has never been scared of a risky fit, so even when people disagree on the look, nobody can say he doesn’t dress like he means it.
Steph Curry

Steph Curry arrived with Ayesha Curry in Balenciaga, wearing a black hooded trench coat over a sleek black suit. It gave quiet luxury with a little superhero energy, and honestly, Steph looked more comfortable in that than he did talking about not being in the playoffs.
Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow is one of the men at Met Gala 2026 who went viral (again) for wearing another oversized newsboy-style cap to the Met Gala. Social media definitely had jokes ready because, at this point, that hat is becoming part of his brand, whether people asked for it or not.
A$AP Rocky

A$AP Rocky repped for men at Met Gala 2026 in custom Chanel, stepping out beside Rihanna in a soft pink jacket, scarf belt, black slacks and standout accessories. Rocky has been one of the best-dressed rappers alive for years, so even when Rihanna steals the room, he still makes sure his side of the photo is handled.
