On June 11, a judge ruled in her favor, enforcing the prenup she and Simon Guobadia signed before saying “I do.” The decision means Simon must pay Porsha $40,000 per month in alimony for up to 15 months. He’s also on the hook for all her legal fees, and she’ll retain ownership of the Rolls-Royce he gifted her during their relationship.
And that’s not all. Though the $7 million home the couple lived in was Simon’s before they married, Porsha has until 2027 to decide whether she wants to stay. If she does, she’ll need to refinance the home and buy out Simon’s 50% equity. Until then, he’ll continue paying the mortgage.

According to insiders who spoke with The Breakfast Club, the lengthy court hearing—which lasted nearly 10 hours—took place via Zoom, with the former couple avoiding any direct interaction. “Simon walked away pissed,” a source revealed. He has 30 days to appeal the ruling but has not yet made a decision.
The divorce has been rocky from the beginning. Porsha, 43, filed in February 2024 after just over a year of marriage. The prenup was always a point of contention. Simon, 61, argued that it should be voided, accusing Porsha of misleading him by not disclosing her plans to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. He claimed he wouldn’t have agreed to such a generous prenup if he had known she was planning a reality TV comeback. Porsha’s camp, however, pushed back, saying negotiations were transparent and took place over several months.

To make matters more complicated, Simon’s legal battles extended beyond the divorce. He was recently taken into custody by ICE and deported back to Nigeria, which delayed earlier court dates.

Porsha requested to attend the latest hearing virtually, citing a new job opportunity that could help cover the financial burden Simon had allegedly neglected. Her attorney assured the court the request was not an attempt to delay proceedings but a necessary move to manage both professional and legal responsibilities.
For now, it looks like Porsha is getting a fresh start on her terms—with financial security, her prized car, and the option to claim a multimillion-dollar mansion if she chooses. As for Simon? The ball’s in his court if he wants to keep fighting.
