Day 26’s Brian Andrews Arrested in Texas on Felony Robbery Warrant

Brian Andrews, best known as Brian Angel from the R&B group Day 26, was arrested in Texas after a traffic stop led to the discovery of an outstanding felony warrant. The 39-year-old singer, who gained fame through Sean “Diddy” Combs’ reality show Making the Band 4, now faces serious legal trouble.

Authorities in Harris County pulled Andrews over on March 29, 2025, during a routine traffic stop on Cutten Road. After running his information, officers discovered he had two active warrants—one for felony robbery in Harris County and another for misdemeanor child support in Travis County. He was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail, where his bond was set at $12,500 by the 179th District Court.

Andrews rose to stardom in 2007 as part of Making the Band 4, where he earned a spot in Day 26, a five-member R&B group formed by Diddy. The group found success quickly, with their 2008 debut album Day 26 reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and producing hits like Got Me Going and Since You’ve Been Gone. However, industry struggles and internal conflicts led to their breakup in 2012. While Day 26 attempted reunions in later years, Andrews eventually parted ways with the group, and his music career never regained the momentum of his early success.
