Deion Sanders Jr., son of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, revealed on the Zero 2 Sixty podcast that Hunter donates his NIL earnings to ensure other players on the team are compensated. “He’s one of the biggest donors to the collective,” Sanders Jr. explained. “He’s paying at least 10-15 guys’ NILs on the team.” Notably, Hunter receives no payments from Colorado’s collective, further underscoring his selflessness.

Hunter’s NIL valuation places him second only to his Colorado teammate and quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, who leads with a valuation of $6.2 million, according to On3. This year alone, Hunter secured major endorsement deals with NerdWallet in September and Adidas in October, solidifying his position as one of the most marketable athletes in college sports.
Despite his rising fame and the expectation of being a top-five pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, Hunter remains grounded. Reflecting on his journey during an interview with Complex, the 21-year-old shared, “Young Travis definitely would’ve never believed in the position I’m in right now. I would’ve told ’em to keep going. Stick to your dreams and don’t let the outside affect your dreams.”
