Cardi B recently clapped back at Elon Musk after the Tesla CEO labeled her a “puppet” for Vice President Kamala Harris. Musk’s comment came following Cardi’s speech at a Harris campaign rally in Milwaukee, where she voiced her support for the VP and criticized former President Donald Trump, whom she called a “hustler.” The criticism from Musk, a vocal Trump supporter, was spurred by a brief technical glitch during Cardi’s speech that left her reading from her phone.

Cardi addressed Musk’s remarks on X, denying she’s anyone’s “puppet.” “I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their ass off to provide for me!” she wrote, adding that her background includes challenges Musk may not understand, such as “welfare, poverty, and Section 8.” She emphasized that her views come from personal experience, stating, “You don’t know not one thing about the American struggle.” She finished her post with a pointed dig: “PS fix my algorithm.”
