At a recent campaign rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Donald Trump took aim at Kamala Harris once again, this time focusing on her appearance. Trump declared to his supporters that he’s “much better looking” than his Democratic rival and took shots at those who consider Harris to be attractive.

During the rally, Trump criticized the Time magazine cover featuring Harris, suggesting that the illustration of her was overly flattering. “Time magazine doesn’t even have a real picture of Harris,” he said. “They’ve got this artist’s rendering, and I thought, ‘Is that Sophia Loren?’ I couldn’t even tell.” He also took aim at Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan, who recently argued that Harris’s looks might be an asset in the election.

Trump then made his own assertion about his appearance, telling the crowd, “I am much better looking than her,” which elicited cheers and applause. He repeated, “I’m a better looking person than Kamala,” reinforcing his point to the audience.

This marks at least the fourth time Trump has referenced the Time magazine cover in his speeches, continuing a pattern of personal attacks against his political opponents. During his previous campaign against President Joe Biden, Trump frequently criticized Biden’s age and mental fitness. With Biden out of the race and Harris stepping in, Trump has shifted his focus to Harris, questioning her race, mocking her laugh, and making unsubstantiated claims about her potential impact on the economy and global stability.
Trump’s rhetoric reflects his broader strategy of personal attacks and provocative statements aimed at undermining his opponents.
